Question: Fundraising Ideas?

i am involved with a youth group and we are looking for fresh new ideas for fundraising. We are looking for ways to have fun and involve more parents in our activities. Please give me a detailed answer of an idea you have or an activity you have partcipated in. And NO we don’t plan on organizing an orgy.

Answer: check with Kaboom.org . They have a listing of 101 Fundraisers. (You have to scroll to the bottom of the page to find it though) At the moment, we are planning a citywide play day and playground fundraiser, with carnival games, gift card raffles,(cards donated by local businesses) and lots of free activities to draw the people in from nearby towns (our town only has a population of about 75) . It’s been my experience that if people know they are going to be pressured to give money, they won’t go. Dinners with free-will offering for admission go over really well here, and you are not limited to any given amount decided by how many people you serve. Good Luck!
