Question: Question about giving to charities? ?

I want to give to small charities that do not spend a fortune on fundraising (like mass mailshots) and paid staff and large overheads. Where could I find info on these charities and their financial reports? Or do you know of such a charity?

Question: Anyone have Fundraising Ideas?

I am really hoping to go on a missions trip to an orphanage in Gudalupe Mexico this summer. It does cost a lot of money however, so I need some Fundraising Ideas that I could do myself or with a few other people. I do attend a university so maybe some ideas of things I could do there or elsewhere.
Some ideas I have thought of
Bake Sale
Candy sale
Yard work/dog walking
Any thoughts on the ones mentioned or additional ideas would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks
