Question: Last minute fundraising location?

I’m trying to fundraise by selling snow man poop(marshmallows) and hot chocolate. But there was a problem with the location we wanted to sell them at, and we can’t do it there anymore.

So now I have a bunch of marshmallows and hot chocolate and no way to get rid of them. What kind of places that would allow a group to set up in front of their store to fundraise at the last minute without too much fuss?

Answer: All of these stores may not be in your area, but in my area, they often let groups fundraise in or in front of their stores:

CVS Pharmacy
Walmart
Boscov’s Department Store

Also, if you are a member of a church or synagogue, you could ask to have a table set up after services to sell your Fundraising Items.

Question: Need Help Fundraising?

Hello! In 2010 me and a team of friends will be participating in the Challenge for Life walk and need to raise about $10000.00 in total for the charity. I’ve been looking at doing fundraising but I’m not sure if that is possible seeing as we are an organization. I know I can do back sales and that sort of stuff but what else can I do? We have seven months to raise all our funds. Any ideas???

Answer: it might be best to get with the people sponsoring the walk and see if they have any suggestions regarding raising money. even in this tough economy there are still plenty of people and businesses offering grants/donations for worthy causes. and seeing as how the walk isn’t for another several months, you can really be able to stretch the amount of donations you need to reach your goal. hope this helps
