Question: Is it allowed for coaches to give punishment for fundraising?

On my volleyball team, if you don’t sell 25 expensive cookie dough boxes then you have to do conditioning for the whole practice and if you don’t sell 15 then you have an even worse punishment. Can you actually threaten someone to make money for you, it just seems like it shouldn’tt be allowed at all.

Answer: That shouldnt be allowed at all, especially in this economy. That seems very demeaning and not right at all to me. Something that wouldn’t be bad is if the person who sells the most boxes gets out of like wall sits.

Answer: Ask a local gas station if you can hold a car wash on their premises.
