Question: Need some help! the co. that I work for is Lakeshore Ministries. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit org. we are ?
transitional housing for battered women, homeless people, and some ex offenders.we are in desperate need right now. we have 9 houses that we have been blessed with but the cost of keeping the doors open is expensive. our residents do work and pay weekly fees but its just not enough especially when we arent at capacity. my question is if anyone has anyexperience in fundraising plz let me know. our program is working in these folks life and we dont want to have to shut the doors. thanks to anyone who can help out
Answer: You may want to try grant writing. Target gives a significant amount of money to organizations.

Question: Fundraising ideas for a high school sports team?
we need to raise alot of money for our underfunded sailing team… any ideas?
Answer: I have seen local sports teams at my local supermarket collecting donations by packing customers shopping bags. They can raise quite a lot of money on a saturday.
