Fundraising Luncheon

Question: How can i get the people at work to join in on activities?
I live and work in houston, tx and i the people i work with do not seem like they enjoy the Fundraising Activities i have hosted in the past, mind you its a good cause, it helps to host the holiday party annually and almost everyone attends and expects gifts but no one wants to participate in the raffles, bake sales, bbq luncheons, car washes, and other things we’ve tried. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. thanks
Answer: I would suggest switching the time of the fundraiser. Have it earlier in the year, anything like this during the holidays is just added commitment for people who are already busy.
You could do something fund raising wise during the summer, and just bank the money for the holiday party.
I found a link with other ideas you might not have tried.
Good Luck

Question: Hillary Clinton is Beating all Republican Candidates in Polls and Fundraising. How is this so?
any comments? theories?
She is tied in a poll that puts her against Thompson.
John Edwards is beating Thompson in polls though… 50 to 41%.

hey Elo Fudgepacker, I couldn’t find any Rush Limbaugh polls on Wikipedia… probably because he’s an AM Radio freakshow and isn’t taken seriously by anyone.
Answer: Democrats depend on a lot of small contributions by individual donors. This helps create a loyal base because individual donors have ownership in the campaign. Republicans depend on large donations from big money donors. Big business and big money is afraid to invest in an apparently losing cause. There are a lot of average people willing to support something they believe in.
