Question: Coach needing ideas on Cheerleader activites for February-May for the benefit of our Middle School??
I’m a coach at a middle school. My girls have cheered for the football and basketball seasons. They have worked really hard and there’s not really any other sports here at the school to cheer for. They’ve also done tons of fundraising and community service. So many parents have contacted me about keeping them involved since cheerleading gives them motivation to keep their grades up. I’m looking for ideas on stuff that they can do as a team (for the benefit of the school & students) that will keep them busy for the remainder of the school year. It’s already February and I want keep them involved…does anybody have any ideas?
Answer: I’m an All-Star cheerleader, so we don’t really cheer for anything. Maybe you guys could do a pep rally scheduled for sometime near the end of the year and make a routine and keep running it until then?
