Fundraising Coordinator Jobs

Question: Interview tomorrow?
I have an interview for a really great job opportunity (Fundraising Coordinator at a local Art Museum). Most of the experience I’ve had is with the local high school music boosters (kids were both in band)…and i interview really badly………i get stupid and ramble on about wierd stuff. How can I appear to be confident, sell myself well enough to get this position w/o appearing nervous or arrogant?

Given that it’s tomorrow, this article will probably give you the best information on how to prepare. I just found a job after ages of interviewing and hunting, so my best advice is:
-Play up the experience you DO have. Don’t worry that it may not be exactly what they’re looking for, because you don’t know what the rest of the candidate pool is like!
-Think of other skills you have from previous jobs that could apply to this one. You never know what other experiences you have that could apply!
-Admit weaknesses, but turn them into positives. For example, just because you may have less experience, that may also mean that you’re more willing to learn, which employers really like!
BEST OF LUCK!
