Question: Who are these people giving $35 million in a month?

WASHINGTON – More than doubling her January fundraising total, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton’s advisers said Thursday that she will raise $35 million in February, a figure rival Sen. Barack Obama’s campaign said it would surpass.
The $35 million would be Clinton’s biggest fundraising mark yet and represents a remarkable recovery for her campaign. Obama raised more than she did last month, $36 million to $14 million, and she was forced to lend her campaign $5 million…

We could feed and house hundreds of people with all this money people are quickly throwing at these candidates…just so sad

Answer: Who are they? They are contributors. Many of the BIG contributors expect “FAVORS” down the road should their candidate get into office. These little donations and I use the word little sarcastically, are to help and hopefully ensure,that result. I agree, what if we took all that money and did something good with it like, oh I dunno, feed the homeless, or help people REALLY get health care. NAAA, who would benefit from that?
