OCAP Crashes Liberal Fundraiser

Question: Fundraising Ideas?

So im in this program called people to people. and basically during the
summer for 19 days im gunna go to Australia, Fiji, and new Zealand. the
point of the hold thing is to go there and learn about there culture, what
they do at school. the wild life, there goverment. stuff like that.
Well it costs $6,599 to go and lets face it..im not rich! Ive sent letters to potential sponsers. added up all together if they each gave me $100 i would only have $2,100! thats verrry bad! but better then nothing! in all the letters i offerd community service.
I made flower pens (110) and if i sell them all i would raise 220, thats pretty good. but i still need more! so if you have got any ideas, it would really help! my town isnt a very “lets get together and have a bake sale” town.

Answer: Well i am also in people to people and it is very fun.Maybe you could babysit for extra money or put cans around town.Or you could have your own bake sale. You could talk to someone in your town that sells candles. You could say for every candle i sell while fund raising for, will you give me $2.50.
Another good idea would be having a car wash or dog wash. And you might be able to get a special grant from your school. If all else fails you could just contact people to people and ask about financial issues. Good Luck!!!!
