Fundraising Plan Sample

Question: Can you help me in organizing a fundraising beauty pageant?
I would like to hold a beauty pageant as a fundraiser for my community service club. I would like to include infants up to senior citizens and have categories like Tiny Miss, Little Miss, Miss, Mrs., Senior Ms., etc. We are a pretty small community and pageants used to be popular in this area. I need information on the age groups to have (ages 0-24 months, age 1 to 5 etc.) and information for the judges on how to score or a sample scoresheet. I would also like to have information on a reasonable entry fee and maybe information on a photo contest. I plan on only having one round for each age group, unless there is a tie. I would appreciate all information given. Thanks.
Answer: I have done something like this before and this is how me and my friends set it up.
Every entrant must pay an entry fee of $25
The age categorys were 0-3, 4-8, 9-13, 13-17, 18-24, 25-35, 36-45 and 46+.
For the age groups 0-3 and 4-8 we put money in jars around local stores and banks in our community collected money.
For all the other age groups we had a pagent/ talent show. The entrants had to model down the runway twice (one at the start and one towards the end) and preform once with their talent. We evaluated them on their poise, outfit, and talent. We award the winner a $100 dollar prize, so we still had plenty of money to give to our local charity. We also sold ads to local businesses buy asking and then we advertised them on the flyers and during the pagent.
I hope this helps.
