Question: Local Vietnam Memorial?
H There!
About 70% of the large cities in the US have a memorial to those who served in Vietnam. I am a “helper” to a group in San Jose, California which wants to erect such a memorial in the city.
We are thinking about fundraising, political approvals, memorial design, media involvement, upkeep, etc.
Is there a web site that might help us? A book or magazine article? A checklist of considerations?
Any web sites or other ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Answer: I suggest you look up the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Foundation founded by Jan Scruggs and contact them for help and ideas.
