Question: Is this political correctness gone mad? – muslim answers only please.?

I have had to remove a picture of a piggy bank from a publication on fundraising that I have been asked to produce at work as it could be offensive to muslims. I asked a muslim collegue if he found it offensive and he said no and that it was a stupid thing for me to be made to remove it.

What do other muslims think/feel?

Am I culturally insensitive?

Answer: It depends I guess, if the pig was wearing clothe and kissing people, and basically interacting with humans then yes. But if it’s just a picture of a pig it shouldn’t be such a big deal. I used to have a piggy bank, and I’m a Muslim.
