Question: Some quick Qs i need to ask you…?
Assalamu alaikum wa ramatullahi wa barakaatuhu brothers and sisters,
could you please answer any or all of the following Qs for a charity fundraiser being planned ..need YOUR opinion:
WHEN—–
Insha’Allah Ta’ala right before ramadan… should it be weekend or the evening of weekend?
NAME——
Iftar for Orphans or Opportunity Orphan (as in, it’s an opportunity for the orphans to get sponsored but also an opportunity for us to give sadaqah and look after them as The Noble Qur’an and Prophet Muhammad SalAllahu Alayhi wa Salaam instructed?)
Fundraising Ideas —–
Do you know any fun ways or games to make people donate money?
HOW MUCH—-
How much ticket price for performance by famous Islamic poet (but he’s young and cool lol) and Iftar? .. it’s for charity lol
MCs—-
how do we find ‘MCs’ (masters of ceremonies), like hosts that intro and etc

How are you sister? Well first of all, you should have your fund-raising event during the Ramadan, especially last few days of Ramadan because more people will donate money. Second, it should be on the evening of the weekend, and just name the fund-raising as you said it yourself…Iftar for Orphans. Third, just ask them to donate the money generously and sake of Allah and start from top, for instance start from $ 1000 and then go down little bit after keep requesting them to donate that amount of money…
