Fundraising Sponsorship Ideas

Question: Do you have any Fundraising Ideas that will help me raise a lot of money over time?
I am going on a trip in the coming summer of 2007 to France, Italy, and Greece, so I need a lot of money, and I have only about 5 1/2 months left to fundraise.
I am part of a student ambassador program and this is an educational trip, with many activities and things to do.
I was thinking of selling Smencils (http://smencils.com/fundraising.html). In your opinion, would you buy a smencil for $1?
I’m also planning to work, ask for sponsorships thorough emails and letters, sell things on Ebay, recycle, and save any money I have left.
What kind of ideas you do have that are effective?
Answer: I got a lot of people together, baked cakes and pies, and cookies.
We made at least 1000 dollars but, you can sell a lot!
a lot of people buy homeade stuff so you can sell other stuff besides cakes. Like flowers and candles. Or search the web at “Funraising.com”
