Fundraising Scratch Tickets

Question: I need some Fundraising Ideas?

I work for a grocery store and every year we sell scratch off tickets for $1. Each ticket has a chance to win up tp $10,000 on one side and the other side always has a coupon for a free product in the store. We sell the tickets to raise money for child cancer research. I need some ideas on ways to sell more tickets. Last year we had a bakesale (staffers donated the baked goods and $1 bought you a brownie and a ticket) we’ve also done a carwash $5 got you 5 tickets and a carwash. Anyone have any ideas. We also partner with the Baltimore Orioles, so I’d like to get a player in the store to sign autographs, but I don’t know how to go about booking one.

Answer: You can ask people to donate stuff and have a garage-type sale, or some really good things and have a raffle. If you need a player from the Orioles, your best bet would be to call their office and explain the situation to them.
