Question: Who should I help and how?

Hi, I found this company that do certain expeditions to Inca trail, Everest base camp, great wall of china etc were you do a physical challenging expedition, they cost around £2000-3000, which I could save, but I noticed that they do charity orientatedexpeditionss so if you get enough people to sponser you and raise enough money though fundraising events then you can do an expedition that wayand att the same time raise money for a charity of your choice, now personally I think this is a good cause and idea(don’t leave comments slagging it off if you don’t agree, if you don’t fair enough, but i’m not askin for your thoughts) but I have 2 problems,
1. I’ve looked at so many charitiess and at their causes and their all so good so who shall I chose and why?
2.In what ways should I fund raise?

(btw, i’ve chosen to do a 2-3 week, dog sleding expedition in the artic circle.)

Answer: It depends on your values… and what/who you think needs the most help right now in the world. I would personally choose either an environmental charity, an animal charity, or a women-in-the-third-world human rights/health charity.

You would also be wise to investigate the charity to see how much of their money goes to the cause, and how much into their pockets. I know many of the christian charities in the united states who advertise a lot on TV channel much of the donations into making themselves rich.

I have no idea HOW you fundraise, but I bet you anything when you contact your chosen organization(s) they will help you with ideas.
