Easy Fund Raising Ideas

Question: Any ideas for Senior Ball Fundraising?

At our school, senior ball (prom) is held off campus, and because of that, we can not fund raise on-campus (it’s a big legal issue). We need $7000 by Jan. 23rd, and we a little short (around $2500). We have done senior tshirts and sweatshirts, but we are trying to do something else now. Any ideas? And please, I know we can do car washes and bake sales…so any innovative ideas?

Answer: Talent show, marathon, or go to a store that sells in bulk like Costco or Sam’s Club and you could buy candy like M&Ms in a box and sell it for a dollar or Hershey’s chocolate. They sell quickly at my school and lots of people like candy. An auction, like maybe some people can offer useful services like tutoring, dance lessons, a date, whatever you can imagine that would be appropriate.

The local Carl’s Jr in my area has coupon books especially for fundraisers so you could try that, though I’m not sure if it is available in your area. Try going to a popular restaurant/hang out and see if you guys could fundraise there, like a pizza parlor or ice-cream shop, and like maybe you guys get 20% of the sales or something.
