Fundraising Graphics

Question: School Fundraising laws.?
our school art club is trying to design graphics for like flip flops and what shirts and stuff to sell to raise money and was wondering what would we need legally if anything since we are a school organization
it is also in Alabama
Answer: School district policy, and not the law, dictates the parameters of School Fundraising. Your best source of information is the faculty adviser.
Good luck.

Fundraising On Twitter

Question: Would you donate to someone you didn’t know?
I’d like really honest answers here please,
If someone you’d added on twitter posted a tweet or some random person had posted a video on youtube promoting a fundraising event (and had set up a fundraising site) would you consider donating (even £1) to their cause? or would that fact that you don’t know them make you ignore the request?
Just some extra details – the page is a legit donation page set up through a well known donation gathering site and also the cause is something that matters a lot to myself (and I think this comes across on the page).
Basically just wanting to find out if it would yield any results to promote the page to people outside of those whom I actually know.
Ok, just to be very specific here – this is a legit charity (well known) – the money goes directly to the charity, no middle men and all of this is made clear on the donation page
Answer: Well, a couple of days ago I was eating at KFC and a girl came rushing in there. She politely approached me and said “Excuse me”. Asked me if I had any change so she could get a gallon of gas. Even though I didn’t know her, I gave her the benefit of the doubt that she truly needed it. So I gave her all the change I had, which was about 70 cents. And then she asked a few other people. I couldn’t say no. Just think about this, what if you were in their shoes?
