Question: If the Republican Party/conservative values are so great, why do they need to exploit fear to raise money?

a Republican National Committee PowerPoint fundraising presentation encouraging Republicans to raise money by promising to “save the country from trending toward socialism.”

That, the presentation says, is what Republicans can “sell” when “you do not have the White House, the House or the Senate.”

It says that potential small donors can be reached through appeals to “fear,” among other motivations, and suggests they are “reactionary,” while major donors respond to “access” and “peer to peer pressure” and are “ego-driven.”

…your take? and no, saying “you do it too” is a very poor argument.
@OMG: global warming? you don’t even know my beliefs pertaining to that, fool.

Answer: I have no clue. The TV ads opposed to “Healthcare Reform” in my area are all showing “Natural Disaster” footage in other nations while pushing fear & hate. Most people I know can see through their tactics, so I’m not real worried about the Propaganda.

Look at “whatever it takes” – That’s the mindset that will push the GOP out of U.S. Politics.

Question: NEED Fundraising Ideas!?

Our senior class needs a lot of fundrasing ideas, or one idea that will rack in a lot of dough. We have a lot of things we want to accomplish our senior year, but we need the funds to get to where we want to go.

Any ideas on how to fundraise a lot of money?.. no specific amount.. but, say, let’s target $1000 for now.

bake sales,
raffles,
like an auction but for a date….(guys bid highest gets a girl as a date)
see if u can contact juice it up or golden spoon- i hear they help out schools….they come to my school and one dollar of everything they sell goes to your school
