Question: Is George W. Bush working hard for Haiti Relief fundraising ? 10 points for specific notices?

The meeting came the day after Cheney left a Washington hospital, where he was treated after a mild heart attack.
Bush has kept out of the spotlight since leaving office. Bush took Obama up on the president’s request in January to work with former President Bill Clinton to raise money to help Haiti recover from a devastating earthquake.
Cheney, in contrast, has continued to be a prominent voice in the Republican Party and an outspoken Obama critic.

Answer: Last night on American Idol (Thursday Results show) it appeared that Saint Kris Allen of Arkansas was saving the island singlehandedly — no need for Texans now that former Idol winners will be fundraising !

Question: Does McCain make unwise decisions?
He seems to be blundering on many decisions – even how to get campaign contributions.
Do we need such poor decisions in the WhiteHouse?
“The overall numbers obviously are impressive,” Plouffe said in a campaign video. “But it’s what’s beneath the numbers in terms of average Americans who have had enough, who want a change and who are really fueling this campaign.”
Obama had initially promised to accept public financing if McCain did, but changed his mind after setting primary fundraising records. His extraordinary fundraising is bound to set a new standard in politics that could doom the taxpayer-paid system. Many Republicans have begun to second-guess McCain’s decision to participate in the program.
